BIO

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Sarah Alice (she/her) fell in love with acting at a young age after performing in her first show about a bunny that refused to hop (very high stakes, very emotional, she made Meisner proud!). Fast forward a decade and a half, and Sarah Alice obtained a BFA in Theatre Performance from Northern Kentucky University. She moved to NYC a few months later, falling in love again; this time with NYC, because of its foldable pizza mostly.

Since moving to the city, Sarah Alice has been seen in several off and off-off Broadway productions, readings, and workshops at various venues and theaters such as Playwright’s Horizons, Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater, The Flea Theater, The Sheen Center , The Tank, The Kraine Theater, and various comedy venues. Sarah Alice was a part of the inaugural class of Freestyle Love Supreme’s improv/musical improv academy at Ars Nova, and she was a member of the BARS program’s 5th cohort at The Public Theater. From June 2018 to December 2020, Sarah Alice was a Bat, a Resident Acting Company member, at The Flea Theater, and she is now a proud founding member of The Fled Collective.

Sarah Alice was also recently seen in an episode of Law and Order and a commercial for a bank you might have heard of (let’s just say, Jennifer Garner was busy that day…).

Additionally, Sarah Alice’s passion for performance has extended into writing and producing. She is constantly creating new work such as her one act play, The King, which premiered at the NY Winterfest; an original web series called “Sassy and MK's Days of Fun”; and her 10 minute play, Guilt, which premiered as a part of The Tank Theater’s Limefest. Her original work has also been featured as a part of The Wilma Theater’s Open Mic Series, Flea Fridays, The BARS program, AMIOS, and CyberTank.

In August 2024, Sarah Alice will be taking her one-woman show, Something To Believe In, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland! Follow @somethingtobelievein_show on Instagram to follow her journey.
